Conditions of Service
The bitch must have a current vaccination certificate which has been emailed to the info@poodlecentral.com prior to arrival on site for service.
Stud fee : $3500Natural Breeding
Owner of stud will receive the stud fee upon arrival of bitch. Payment can be made via the payment gateway on this site. It is specifically agreed hereby, that the remaining balance of stud fee is due after successful mating. Successful mating will be deemed to be complete after first tie.
The stud fee will entitle the bitch to receive two services where possible in the same heat cycle. Live pup guarantee – the mating will produce at least 1 live pup at time of whelping.
If the bitch fails to be in whelp, the bitch owner must give notice to the owner of stud dog no later than 65 days following date of service. Notification will include a vetinarian’s certificate to confirm the bitch is not pregnant. If notified, a return service will be given to the same bitch at her next heat at no further charge.
This service includes boarding of bitch for the first 3 days at no charge( if required ). Starting day 8 of the heat cycle. After the first 3 days, the boarding charge is $20 per day payable at collection.
All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the bitch owner. No costs will be incurred without permission unless it is an emergency.

Copy of quotation to be sent from Foxton Vet Services or Massey University vet clinic for extraction and transport. Semen will be transported by air at receivers cost directly to Bitch owners vet.

If the bitch fails to be in whelp, the bitch owner must give notice ( supported by vetinarian’s cert) to the owner of the stud dog no later than 65 days following the date of AI. Suitability of Bitch
To ensure maximization of services we recommend the following as a suitable receiver for;
Natural Breeding
Oden stands 14.5 inches high at the shoulder.
The receiving bitch should be no taller than 15 inches at the shoulder and can be up to six inches smaller at the shoulder.
Successful mating is achieved with mixed breeds up to 15" along with Mini Poodles, Toy poodles, Bichons.

Artificial Insemination (AI)
Any size dog that falls outside natural breeding parameters or for those owners who live outside Manawatu.
NOTE: The bitch determines the pre whelp size of the pups so if your girl is small AI may be the best option.

Note
As purebred poodles are non-shedding and low allergenic there is a common misconception that all progeny from purebred stud poodles will be the same. This is not the case, however, in most situations, the progeny have a lower shedding rate than the receiving bitch.
We strongly suggest, when selling progeny from Oden, that you take the shedding/ allergenic rate of the receiving bitch into account and do not advertise the progeny of mixed breeds as non-shedding, instead use the words “ low shedding / low allergenic “.
