Natural Breeding
Stud Fee :By negociation in advance , Normally set at the value of 1 pup ( plus travel expences if required. )
Owner of stud will receive 50% of the stud fee ( non refundable ) prior to arrival of bitch. Payment can be made via the payment gateway on this site. It is specifically agreed, that the remaining balance of stud fee is due after successful mating. Successful mating will be deemed to be complete after first tie. Payment of the remaining fee can be made either via the site or direct internet transfer.
The stud fee will entitle the bitch to receive two services where possible in the same heat cycle. Live pup guarantee – the mating will produce at least 1 live pup at the time of whelping.
If the bitch fails to be in pup, the bitch owner must give notice to the owner of stud dog no later than 65 days following date of service. Notification will include a vetinarian’s certificate to confirm the bitch is not pregnant. If notified, a return service will be given to the same bitch at her next heat at no further charge.
This service includes boarding of the bitch at Poodle Central for the 3 intermediate days ( if required ). Starting day 8 of the heat cycle. After the first 3 days, the boarding charge is calculated at $25 per day payable at collection.
All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the bitch's owner. No costs will be incurred without permission unless it is an emergency.
Bitches must have a valid Cert of Vaccination for parvo , lepto and kennel cough.
Your bitch needs to be at least a miniature poodle size or larger for natural breeding with a Std poodle.
If your bitch is smaller than a miniature then we suggest side-by-side insemination is appropriate.
The bitch dictates the size of pups at whelping time.
Side-by-side insemination falls under the Ai pricing and guarantees guideline, vet fees are additional.

Artificial Insemination (AI)
Stud Fee : $2000 + vet fees ( quote x massey vet clinic P/Nth ) + transportation ( cost depends on location )
Payment: 50% payable at booking , balance payable before product dispatch.
The process :
A copy of the quotation will be sent from Massey University Veterinary Clinic for payment before work is completed.
Once collected Massey will check , process and freeze/chill the semen straws ready for transport in a chill container.
The straws are then transported by Air NZ directly to your nominated Vet.
We suggest you ensure that your vet is capable of collecting and storing the straws.
We supply three straws, 2 for insemination, plus one to check viability.
We require a vet cert that all straws have been used on one microchipped bitch for two inseminations over a period of 2 weeks. Date of insemination to be supplied by the vet.
Guarantee: Poodle Central guarantees that the straws are viable when they leave Massey University.
Any mishaps in transport or at your vet clinic are your responsibility.
