After years of operating a beloved poodle kennel in New Zealand, Poodle Central has embarked on an exciting new chapter. The kennel has officially left its Kiwi roots behind and journeyed to a beautiful new home — Punta Barco, Panama.
The move was no small feat. Traveling halfway around the globe, the four-legged residents of Poodle Central first flew from New Zealand to Los Angeles, then onward to Bogotá before finally reaching their serene coastal destination. Coordinating this complex journey required outstanding teamwork and dedication.
Star Pet Travel played a crucial role in organising and managing the long-haul leg from New Zealand to Los Angeles. Their expertise made sure the initial step of the journey was seamless and stress-free. Once in LA, Brady Wheeler from Tailwind Global Pets took the reins, coordinating with a specialized team spanning Central and South America to handle the next phases. Their smooth logistics ensured the poodles continued comfortably on their long voyage.
In Bogotá, Angelica Franco and her company Luan Pets expertly handled the overnight stop. Luan Pets went above and beyond by spending the night at Bogotá airport walking and playing with the poodles, ensuring they were well cared for, relaxed, and comfortable during the layover.
